@Auckland_Kiwi Mate, once you get flagged for structural rust on a WOF, the re-certification process is a massive headache and costs a fortune. Unless you can weld it yourself, Turners or Facebook Marketplace auctions are your best bet to get rid of it. JDM imports are cheap here in NZ, but always look underneath for compliance rust flags before buying. Our damp coastal climate is brutal on Japanese sheet metal.
